Meghan Markle’s adorable day out sleigh riding with Prince Archie | Royal | News
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once revealed Prince Archie‘s first experience with snow just months before the couple left the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior working royals in early 2020, but before their sensational exit, they took a break in Vancouver Island for the festive period in late 2019.
Harry and Meghan showed footage from their holiday break in their Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, which was released in December 2022.
In a clip, Meghan can be seen laughing as she pulls six-month-old Archie, who is sat on a sleigh along the snow.
The duchess looks chic and casual in a dark hooded jacket, dark trousers, brown boots and a warm bobble hat.
Meanwhile, baby Archie looks adorable in a polka-dot Mini Boden Panda snowsuit as he looks around and enjoys his first snow experience in the red and wooden sleigh.
In the snow, Meghan said of their little trip to Vancouver Island: “I just loved being there. It was just so peaceful. You could breathe for a minute.”
It comes as the duchess recently revealed how she spends her holidays with her family in California.
She told Marie Claire: “We’re always making sure we have something fun to do.
“Like any other family you spend time having a great meal and then what do you do? Play games, all the same stuff, someone brings a guitar—fun.”
The duchess added that she makes sure her two children can get to experience “the magic” of traditions like “great recipes that they end up connecting to a formative memory” at Thanksgiving” or putting out “carrots for the reindeer” at Christmas.
She said: “Every single holiday is a new adventure.”
